For those who are just starting out, capturing screenshots or specific on-screen areas can be incredibly handy.

Whether you’re demonstrating something to someone, saving an image for later, sharing a quick snapshot on social media, attaching it to an email, or inserting it into a document, screenshots are a versatile and practical tool. Quick Tip: If you’re working on a Windows 10 tablet and don’t have access to physical keys, you can capture the screen by pressing the «WIN» button together with the «Volume Down» button. This shortcut works seamlessly to grab what you need!

Print the screen of screen and combinations with it

The first method for creating the screenshot or window of a window in Windows 10 – use of the print screen key, which on the computer or laptop keyboard is usually at the top, right and can have an abbreviated version, for example Prtscr.

By pressing on it, the screenshot of the entire screen is saved in the notes (i.e. in memory), which you can subsequently insert using the combination of CTR+V (or the menu of any start program) in the Word document, as an image in the graphic paint or another program that can work with the images.

If you use the combination of keys Alt + print screenSo in the notes, the active window of the program will be saved, not the entire screen.

And the last option: if you do not want to manage the notes and you want to create the screenshot as an image, in Windows 10 you can use the key combination Win (Windows Ebioma Key) + screen. After pressing it, the screenshot will be saved in the images of the folder – screenshot.

A new method for making screenshots in Windows 10

In the update of Windows 10 version 1703, an additional method appeared to create the screenshot – the combination of keys Win+Shift+S. Search for these keys, the shadows of the screen, the mouse cursor changes in a «cross» and with its help, by pressing the left mouse button, you can select any rectangular area of ​​the screen, the screenshot you want to do.

After releasing the mouse button, the selected area will be saved in the notes and you will be able to insert it in a graphic editor or in a document.

The program for the creation of the «Calk Stroment» screen

Windows 10 contains a pre – -installed application of the cutting tool, which allows the creation of the screenshot (or the entire screen), including delay, modification and rescue in the desired format.

To carry out the application of the application tool, find it in the «Windows Accessories» list or type the name of the application in the research field.

After the rolling, you will have the following available options:

• By pressing the arrow from the «mode» tab, you can choose, what kind of image you want to do: free shape, rectangular, full screen, active window.
• In the «delay» tab you can set a delay in the image of the screen for a few seconds.

After creating the image, a window will open with this screen, on which it is possible to add different anomalies in the form of a pencil or highlighting tool, rubber and, of course, save (Menu file – CA rescue) in the form of the desired file (PNG, GIF, JPG).

The Win + G Games Panel

In Windows 10, by pressing the combination of Win + G keys in the programs, open on the screen, the game panel opens, which allows video recording on the screen, as well as, if necessary, to capture the screen using the appropriate button or the combination of keys (predefined – win + alt + print screen).

If this panel does not open, check the Xbox application settings, since this panel depends on this application, also, this panel may not work if the video card does not accept or not the drivers installed.
